These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Iced Tea Labs (“we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Saved mobile application and the saved.icedtealabs.com website (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
App Store EULA
If you obtained Saved from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). These Terms incorporate the Standard EULA. If there is a conflict, the Standard EULA governs the licensing of the App itself; these Terms govern everything else (your account, your content, and your use of the Service).
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Iced Tea Labs and not with Apple, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary with the right to enforce them. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
Eligibility and account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Saved. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Apple ID secure. You agree the information you provide is accurate.
Your content
You retain ownership of the URLs, notes, and other content you save in the App (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service for you and the people you share folders with.
You represent that:
- You have the right to save and process Your Content via the Service.
- Your Content does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law.
- Your Content does not contain malware, illegal content, or content that is hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit involving minors.
We do not pre-screen Your Content, but we may remove content that violates these Terms or is required to be removed by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or attempt to disrupt it.
- Use the Service to scrape, mass-collect, or republish content in violation of source platforms' terms (including Instagram, TikTok, and others).
- Use the Service to harass others, including in shared folders.
Third-party content
Saved fetches metadata and (when you tap AI Magic) post content from third-party websites, including social platforms. The Service is provided to help you save and organize that content for personal use. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party content, and your use of it is subject to those third parties' terms.
AI features
The App uses AI to extract structured information (such as recipes and locations) from content you save. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You should not rely on AI output for decisions where errors could have serious consequences (e.g., dietary, medical, navigational, or legal decisions). You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.
Subscriptions and payments
Saved is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid features in the future, the price, billing period, and renewal terms will be clearly disclosed at the point of purchase. Any subscription will be sold through Apple and managed in your Apple ID account; you can cancel at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Beta features
We may label some features as “beta” or “preview”. These features are provided as-is, may be unstable, and may be changed or removed without notice.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ICED TEA LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US$50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Iced Tea Labs from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Iced Tea Labs is established, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that you may bring claims in your country of residence where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
